Industrial Designer

Clifford Nies is an industrial designer and woodworker living in San Diego, California. From furniture to fruit bowls, 200-square foot shacks to tree houses, Cliff is interested in designing and building products that inspire people to live a better life.

As a maker, he is interested in the concept of home. Home can be a person, place, idea, or state of mind. On the spiritual level, home holds the soul, heart, and bodies of humans. In the physical world, architectural forms and concepts have grown around our relationship with the shelter we keep. He believes furniture and well built space has the ability to create a built world better suit for humans.
