Laura Mays, of Yaffe Mays, designed this dining chair for Green Ranch Furniture in 2014. Since the chair was designed it has been produced in Elk out of local hardwoods by a fellow graduate of The Krenov School. As an Industrial Designer, I spent 3 months investigating the production and craft involved in making small batch furniture. While making the chair, I was able to build relationships, learn about chair design, and refine small design details. Thank you to everyone involved, it was an absolute pleasure making these chairs.
